Novation City needed a digital activation for their tech-innovation event targeting the startup ecosystem — something that would reflect the spirit of the event, foster real collaboration among attendees, and be genuinely memorable. Traditional event formats weren't going to cut it. We took the brief from concept to a fully playable multiplayer VR experience, delivered on time for the live event.






Why did the client come to us - Problem
At startup and tech events, standard engagement formats: booths, panels, demos, fail to create the kind of shared, memorable experiences that define a great event. Attendees stay passive, interactions are shallow, and the energy of innovation rarely translates into something people can actually feel and participate in together. Novation City needed something that matched the ambition of their event's theme.
How did we solve the problem - Solution
We designed and built Maze Quest VR, a multiplayer virtual reality experience where teams navigate a maze together, requiring real-time communication and collaboration to progress. The game was built to run on event hardware, support multiple simultaneous players, and deliver consistent performance under live event conditions. Beyond the gameplay, the experience generated shareable moments, reinforced the event's innovation brand, and gave attendees something they could only get at Novation City. TeraPi took this from brainstorm to fully deployed activation, on time, on theme, on brand.
